Orlov injured
Will miss the rest of the tournament

"My arm is broken and I can't turn it, so there is no point in suffering and trying to play. I'd only be a burden to my team", said Orlov, with his left arm in a sling, after Russia's Tuesday morning practice at the Minsk Arena. "I have contacted the Washington Capitals and will be going to America, where I will see a doctor in Washington or New York."
Orlov's injury occurred in the second period of the game after he collided with the boards. He didn't return to the game. The 22-year-old Washington Capitals defenceman who was making his World Championship debut, was not sure whether a surgery on his arm will be needed.
Orlov's injury is a big blow to Russia's already banged-up defence. Maxim Chudinov, who is suffering from an illness, dressed for the USA game but didn't play a single shift, while Andrei Zubarev missed the game due to a deep laceration on his arm. Earlier, Russia had also lost forward Andrei Loktionov with a shoulder injury. He has been replaced with Sergei Kalinin.
